The event on December 1st, 2017 celebrates the National Day of Romania and, at the same time, the artistic contribution of Canadian citizens of Romanian descent living in the National Capital Region and elsewhere in Canada. The day will feature artistic performances by the Transilvania Orchestra from Montreal and the Izvorul Romanian Dance Ensemble of Ottawa Gatineau, art and multi-media exhibitions, gastronomy and demonstrations, special activities for children aimed at offering them a glimpse into the history and culture of our part of Europe, as well as a display of the Romanian Christmas and winter traditions and carols with the Incognito Choir of Ottawa-Gatineau. Come find the joy, the burst of energy but also the depth that is typical for Romanian artistic expression - December 1st, 2017, at the Horticulture Building, Lansdowne Park.
